exhaust

hi probably a stupid question but does anyone else with a 1.1 desire find their exhaust louder than it should be. I've driven my mates 106 1.1 and it just seems so much quieter. it feels weird to drive almost when taking up past 3000 rpm when in my friends pergout its comfortable to cruise at 4000 i just had to change the down pipe as it decided to snap off in central London and the catalytic converter and exhaust pipe is only 4 months old ....

sounds like its leaking very slightly or they have put on piss poor parts bud. take it back to them and complain! lol.
