Question Wheel bearing

When im drivin the front left wheel makes quite a bad vibrating noise sometimes. i think its the wheel bearing. Anyone give me some clues on how to regrease it ? thanks.

my passenger side is nearly gone so makes a real noise, i only really feel viberation when on roundabouts. so booked into garage to be replaced

wheelbearing shouldnt be that much for a saxo probably about 10 -15 quid aftermarket

i recently paid about 25 i think it was for a wheel bearing shouldnt cost to much at a garage

The bearings are sealed units and cannot be regreased. Mine cost me (I think) 17 quid from a motor factors and about a tenner to be pressed out and in. Took the strut off myself.

Only thing to watch out for is that if you start to eat wheel bearings you're best off getting one from citroen. Cheap bearings don't like some cars and only the real mccoy will do. At about 65 quid a pop though it's only worth considering after the first 2 or 3.

Update: okay took it to see a mechanic last night, went for a drive in it so he could here the noise and he just laughed at me. He said in 20 years of work he's never heard anythin like it and he didnt have a clue. The noise only occurs when im at high speeds when i just press on or off the accelerator. but if i take it out of gear around 60-70 it does it constant. He said it could be anything from engine momentum shift, driveshaft, CV boot joint or wheelbearing he's not sure. Anyone had similar problems?
