Default xsara vtr owner

hi guys, thought i would join this forum because it seems to be the best for info on the vtr engine as ive just been given a mint v-reg xsara 1.6vtr from my stepdad cause he wanted shot of it to make space for his new volvo.
this is the first citroen ive ever owned ive always been into ford sierras i had a radient red saphire 2000dohc which i spent a fortune doing up into a cosworth rep,but unfortunatly its no longer with me due to the old tin worm
anyway i would like to say hello and i look foward to some advice on the vtr engine from you guys.
ive already purchased an induction kit and im going for an ashley backbox next then after i mot it its de-cat time but ive got to fix the heater blower as its not working at all,ive been told this is a common fault on xsara range.

davie.

My bad, always thought the VTR was a 1.8 and VTS the same 2.0 litre lump as the GTI-6.
