Default non starting vts

just had to fit a unlocked ecu to the car cos i lost the keys, the fuel pumps priming and pumping fuel, its turning over but it just wont kick in.. any ideas?

could be a fault crank sensor or a lose earth?

sure the ecus unlocked? did you leave the transponder box plugged in and relock it?

started the car, unplugged the key code reader on the barrel and the imobiliser box thing, turned the car off, and back on and it ran, so stuck the ecu in mine..

its not getting a spark, multimeter says no power to the coil pack.. ?

did you take the transponder box out of yours before fitting that ecu? if not youve probably relocked it.

Power for the coil should be fed from the ignition relay which in turn is fed from the blue wires that goto the fusebox on the passenger inner wing. Check those fuses

yep i took it all out mine before fitting it, it had been out for ages cos i knew i needed a unlocked ecu..

i think it may be a relay now, you know the 1 under the ecu? all the fuses are fine, unless your talking about the big fuckers up near the passenger strut top?
