Depends on your ability and the contents of your toolbox. For such a small item the procedure is quite involved for what it is. If you decide to carry out the job yourself PM me and I will list the procedures for you.

I assume this is a Driveshaft boot, if you have limited ability take it to a garage, as you have to take the bottom ball joint bolt off and the driveshaft bolt (Big bastard 26mm or somin) probably easier to take it to a garage.

For the part or for part and labour? must be the bodge method if it is £30 as there are sometimes those crappy stick together boots so you don't have to remove the driveshaft.

Not really that bad
Hub nut off
Bottom balljoint bolt
Split wishbone/strut
Take shaft out, catching the box oil in a suitable container
Cut old boot off
Wipe down
Pull the boot over the cone thing
Re-grease
Metal tie thing on either end
Refitting is the reverse of removal.
Admittedly I got a mate to help (I haven't got the cone thing, and I usually break stuff), but it is a simple procedure in theory. So i'd say £30 is probably about right.
