Praise for the police
After all the slaggings the police have had on this forum from people (myself included) I thought I would post this story up.
At 3 am sunday i was driving home. There was a car coming the opposite direction, but I thought nothing of it, after all it was a straight bit of road. Next thing he swerves right over to my side of the road. Luckily he swerves back and just takes out my mirror. i was more annoyed by the fact he didnt stop than that he nearly killed me, so I goes down the police office and reports it. Got a call last night to say they got him another 30 miles up the road...drunk driver.

No mate, it's not..
It wasn't even illegal till a few years ago, (not that that makes it safer).
But c'mon .
