Default humpback bridge without warning

went into honiton yesterday straight from work looking for an auto parts shop when i launched the car over a bridge aroud 60/70mph. hit the ground with a huge bang disconecting a gear linkage, denting my 4.2.1 manifold, shearing bolts in the gearbox and something in the front left corner is knocking. my car is rapidly deteriarating, far quicker than i can aford to fix it anyway.

hump back bridges are bad news if your cars lowered lol, ive had some good jumps in the years but never would of atempted it in the vts as it was too low, too low really for fast lane driving.

Why go over a humback bridge that quick?

Surely you would know to slow down, own fault.

Speak for yourself...

Okay, you did 60/70mph over a humback bridge and seen no warning.. if you seen no warning would it be sensible to slow down a tad before you got to the bridge?

I didnt realise there was a bridge untill i was in the air hence the NO WARNING part.

60-70 is too fast to drive down lanes IMO, it would have been smart to slow down when you saw the bridge coming, assuming you could see it coming of course.

So you continue to do 60/70... should of slowed down and you know it.

Nevermind, hope you get it sorted.

It's not always obvious that they are there - some smaller ones can just look like a small rise in the road. You don't notice how steep they are at the other side until you've gone over.

I've had this happen to me a few times, mostly on quiet B roads (NSL) with no signs to warn you - I guess the tax payer's money is focused more on the busier roads (in theory).

+1, ive seen some that are a very low rise on one side and then drop away down a bank on the other, and the walls next to the bridge are also covered in bushed ect occasionally. depends on the road/bridge as to wether you can see the hazard
