Formula Vee & Support @ Brands Hatch. Caution: Rain
It's the Formula Vee Festival at Brands this weekend. Support is from Heritage Touring Cars, GT Cup, MR2s, Nippon Challenge, VAG Series and Golf GTIs.
Rained most of the day, but it did stop and brighten up for a while in the last session!
Here goes. These are from yesterday, not looked at any of today's shots.
Dark meant high ISOs most of the day, all good. Exif is there.

Stick with it mate, like I said it's a total re-learning job...and quite a steep learning curve.
A couple of those from Sunday are with the 2x as well - the 1st & 2nd ones definitely are.
And learn to use a monopod as well. Some people say they don't get on with them after using them once or twice - again you need to learn.
Oh and get rid of that silly Velbon UP400 if you're going to use one, Manfrotto 681B is what you need.

Some top quality shots there, I went to the Morgan factory the other day, near where I live where those Aeromax models are built. They're odd looking but quite nice, I would guess they're odd to drive (at first) because you sit a long way back, behind the engine, and they look really heavy. However they're powered by BMW V8s aren't they, and they've got big 4 pot AP brakes to slow them down again, so probably quite a fun car really.

Any relation to Martin Galpin? That's my car number 93 with the top panel missing, I rented it out to Dave Connor (not David Joseph - he has been running the car throughout this season) and it is the ex Martin Galpin car.
Great pics!

No relation, but I do know Martin & John.
Martin was Vee champ in 2007.
