In the uk its best part of £150-£170 to get the remote start fitted so i dont know what the exchange rate is but that sounds cheap. I used to have remote start on my vtr and i used it every day. It is great in the winter as you can leave the blowers on hot up at the screen and start it 10mins befor you leave, No more scraping the car and it nice and warm.

wouldnt have thought so but then again i doubt the insurance company will like it. Since having my car alarmed and now got a lockup for it makes no difference to the price of my policy (compared to it sitting on the road un-alarmed) i didnt tell them about it.
for all the do-gooders out there who would tell their insurance company if they added a different air freshner...! bite me!
