Help! Problems with clutch
I noticed yesterday my car started making a funny noise then I noticed the car was moving off different. If I was stopped at a set of light and go into first to take off the car shutters a bit but after that no problems going between gears but today same problem with a noise, once the clutch is pressed in it makes a sort of screech and it’s the same when I am in neutral. Any ideas of what it could be?

New clutch the bearing come's with it not worth just replaceing the bearing might as well do both if you gotta take the gearbox off. Around 100 quid can get cheaper but you get what you pay for.

Would something like this do, bring it to a garage and only pay for the labour? A friend of mine works on car and im going to take a run up and see what he thinks.

If you're gonna fit a new clutch then i really would reccommend you fit a genuine Valeo clutch, cheap clutches are false economy and you would struggle to find a garage who will fit it... mates are usually good though
