Default Sunroof Drainage Pipes

Iv been having major issues with my sunroof on the new westcoast.

Took the headliner out today and we found that one of the drainage pipes is blocked.

long story short, is theyre anyway of unblocking this for sure?
Myself and lippy though we could try taking the pipe out, but dont actualy know where it goes to.

I dont want to reseal the sunroof, for it to only leak from that pipe again.

answers as soon as really as im going to (weather permiting) crack on and get it all done tomorrow

thanks

i wouldn't mind knowing this too, i think, you can get an air compressor and blow it down there.

OR

there was a Shitreon design fault, where somewhere in the passenger footwell, there is a bolt ( long bolt ) that clamps the pipe, so therefore you need to unscrew it a bit to release the pipe, but if it's both the pipes blocked then it's probs best to just blow down it.

how did you know it was block? i took mine off and there was no water? dry as a bone:/ perhaps the actual gutter in the sunroof is blocked!

how do you go about removing the roof lining exactly? Checked mine earlier and it confused me to hell, the Haynes manual isn't much use as it just says refer to main agent as usual.

sorry, forgot about this thread!

i think i fixed it now. i loosened the bolt, which was by the bonnet release, passenger side. still couldnt get the pipe out. But it has stopped pissing water out everywhere since i did it.

I knew somethign was up because when i took the pipe off the sunroof connection, water came pouring out.

also the headliner was getting wet that side.

Yes it is, its right next to the bonnet release catch and it holds the dash and it also goes through the carpet. After loosening mine about half way it allowed the water to come out properly. I put a nut and two spacers on it and tightened it back up.

Fingers crossed no more problems, although I am becoming quite good now at removing my headlining!
