Fitted my 2piece driveshafts today there is a definate improvement probabley cos my one was screwed anyway.......
also fitted a gti pump a week or so ago thought would put the pictures up as finally got a chance to do it....will have more goodies coming in the next week as payday friday wahoo....
basically dismantle gti pump cut the extended part off..........then trim until level with old pump....i also removed the wires going to the fuel guage sender and the level for it...(needed the xsi one for the xs so got a gti one for my engine may run better we will see)
gti, xsi, xs pumps
cut down pump

been a busy weekend raiding the scrapyard and put a new rad sensor on so fan works by itself again (bit worried as can stay on for 10-15mins after a long drive.....) also got a new glovebox without any scratches on (dam passangers!!!)
new interior light (mine never worked)..........and went halfords to get some washer fluid pipe and air duct so nearly at 100% been ages since worked this well :> wahoooooooooo
ive taped my cold air feed onto the original gti airbox and secured the bottom of it to the bumper so wont be coming off or dipping low so should have a nice cold feed now instead of sucking hot engine air!.......... not sure if i should buy a replacement element (high spec) or just get one of those cheap carbon filters off ebay....any advice......
ive also sorted my morettes now so got the inside two lights working off the fog lights.....and have fixed the wire (decided to melt on the manifold )
also recieved a new 1x 0 2x 4 and 1x 8 gauge positive battery terminal just need battery box now ;>

well ended up buying a bmc cda off a member a while ago......but only just ordered the 90deg bend i need to fit it so that should be here any time this week,
got some new brembo stickers on my brembos look really good just brightens them up! turned up nextday after ordering them on a friday
also got a brand new 2piece driveshaft and replaced the second hand one i got a month or two ago as the boot had split and flicked oil everywhere and looked like it prob had had a hard life!
because of the brake feel i got my ezibleed kit to go with my braided hoses but cant fit any of it cos of the nipple on the rear beam!
!! any ideas people would be a great help needs fixing rather than new beam as would have to swap torsion bars and all sorts plus align and find one thats not knackered already!
will upload pics soon as silicone arrives ;>

mini update:
right a week before leaving for uni......guess what top gearbox mount decides to break off leaving a nice 4in hole in the casing and a wonky engine....
that got left but decided to buy a new gearbox this week and get her going again, off smallfish12 DOH!!!! but have since paid for another one off steffrallye so hopefully that turns up this week sometime......ive also just purchased from bic a set of samco blue hoses to match the one for my airfilter....
My blue xs got sold before leaving for uni for the rubbish sum of 300quid good old ebay but was only allowed to keep one and couldnt get rid of my pride and joy....
pics to follow soon hopefully in the oxford area
im also on the motorsport engineering course at oxford brookes and im sure there tools and experience will be put to good use on the peugeot so keep your eyes peeled, it will 100% be getting turbo'd as too how long it takes im not sure not going to rush anything just gonna wait till the bits arrive by miracle in my lap.....
so currently next time im home except seeing my girlfriend ive got to....
replace gearbox...
fit rear brake cylinder...
bleed brakes
fit front braided hoses that ive had for ages....
fit new samco....
tax and insure lol
maybe not in that order....
will keep you informed....
Edit: dam i need suspension too might be getting std gti ones as a temporary solution to my problem.....

rite been a busy boy.....
swapped the front panel on my mates xr2 and had my first propper go at welding,.....apparently im quite good also done some fiberglass and general body work with him...
fitted my braided hoses...
Fitted my new gearbox....
fitted my alternator back on...
Fitted new rear drum shoes.....
fixed 2 new drum master cylinders...
Fitted new shocks only to find that from having the car jacked up one side for a month while waited for parts and a trip home that the bearing has colapsed or there is some serious movement in the front drivers wheel....basically i am now swapping the strut bottoms for some gti ones from a friend and have also gained some new alloys as the old ones had rubbish tyres (and one had a large gash in it!)
My friends 150quid car 4wd justy lol now scrapped after a trip to an airfield in somerset
