Honey moon ideas
Right 7 months to go most stuff is sorted but can't work out where to go for our honey moon. I've been abroad alot where as she has only ever been France. Looking to do a week, budget upto £2000 for a week to 10 days

Maldives? Supposed to be a really good place for a chilled holiday although the food is very much Indian cuisine from what I've heard, not suited if you want to go out and party it up at all though

Cape verde, croatia and Mexico are nice, can recommend
Mexico maybe little out your budget will have to check.
Otherwise, Portugal is nice, again from experience.
I havent been to turkey or Egypt, hear mixed reviews, worth a thought though.
Edit, dom rep, is a good call too.

£1k each for flights and hotel 7 months in advance not good enough?
where do you people go on holiday!
you should be able to go somewhere exotic-ish for a week, just get hunting around holiday websites and see what comes up,
pick a country then find the best bargin for getting there rather than looking at everywhere as a whole because itll make it harder to get a good deal
