Ford Fiesta St Look-a-like?
Something im really tempted to do tbh, anyone else seen one before?
I was thinking of getting a standard 1.4 fiesta but adding the fiesta ST parts. Does anyone know exactly what my shopping list would be?
How expensive this would be?
Thanks in advance!

Trust me mate you will regret spending money on Bodykit add- ons, think of it like this the money you will be spending on doing this you could be putting away so you can afford better cars, just run your 1.4 for a while and save your cash. thats my advice anyway.

Patience mate, im really not a fan of replica's etc, will be wasting your money. Why not just make some tidy but subtle modifications on your 1.4?

I would be keeping this car 2+ years, plus when it comes to reselling I think someone would pay extra for it!

Do you mean the performance parts for an ST or just the aesthetic side?

People wont pay any extra, even if they did it wont be much tbh, keep it for 2 years and get some no claims built up then go for a nicer motor, hey your lucky when i was 17 i had a Metro!! (was rust free and had 43,000 on the clock i might add! lol). so it could be worse mate ! lol

Personally i dont think it's worth it, and would just add subtle touches until no claims are built up. However, if you really wanted to i dont think it would cost that much to source the part's etc. as long as you were doing most of the work yourself

Yes, I could source most of the parts myself Alloys, body panels etc, and could get them all fitted at work for nothing
I have to agree if was paying to get this all done, it wouldn't be worth it!

Just buy the Zetec-S, they have the same bodykit as the ST don't they so no need to change bumpers. Lower it, stick an ST badge on it and maybe the ST side stripes (but not full bonnet/roof stripes i hate them) Prob get a cheap set of replica ST side stripes on eBay.
Don't think the ST wheels are too different to the Zetec-S either so just keep the Zetec-S multispokes, maybe get them painted black or white for a bit of a change from standard.
Zetec-S is affordable surely, 1.6, nippier than the 1.4 but still not as quick as the "hot hatch" ST slug

I'd just tweak the appearance of your 1.4 bud and save for an ST if you like em, in the long run it will be worth it

Phil your mates is canny nice!
Paul if your having the car two years atleast then why not spend the money making it look nice! To be fair you'll spend the money doing it and then be able to save for a diffrent car when you want..,
IMO do it!
