Default Please help ongoing problem

Rite recently had problems starting the car so bumped it and left to charge for a while the next night started fine so drove it and within less than a mile it started dying ( trying to stall) so mamaged to drive home with no stereo and lights on etc...

i then had battery tested and it was f===cked so got a new one ..

again went for a drive and it still done it...

so tested volatages etc and seemed to be alternator

so have put a brand new alternator in

tested voltages etc and is fine

drove home was fine

drove today and within about half hour it started to want to die again

does anyone no what this could be??

Try checking the wires from the alternator to the starter motor to the Positive on the battery as they are in the same curcuit, one of them might have come loose or cut off.

give your connection to the alternator a good sand. may be poor connection

i had this problem with a vectr , i spent £100's on auto eletricks and couldnt ever find the problem, scrapped it eventually , hope u find the fault
