Default Alternator relay?

Is there a relay for the alternator? if so... where? cos my alternator now only kicks in when i rev the nuts off it! i mean like poppin off the limiter! theres always a buzz from the fuseboard when it kicks in... help?

no relay for the alternator mate,check the belt is tight enough first then check with a multimeter/battery tester and make sure its charging.

Belts tight but no charge so its time for a new alternator then!
