cheap 4x4 for off roading fun,
what 4x4 are fairly cheap on insurance but retain all the offroad fun will be used on and off the road not looking to spend much just a car for few months till ive sold my vtr after i mot it and get a vts, but might keep on afterwards if i enjoy the muddy fun
i have looked at . vitaras, pajeros, shoguns and i like the look of the shogun,
also if anybody knows anyone selling one cheaply bodywork condition isnt an issue as will be used offroad and is sure to get banged up a little bit

but as said before will be getting a vts soon and would like to run both and just looked up the mpg on the shogun..21mpg on a 2.5 td which is terrible, landrover discos arent that bad as i know somebody who uses one to travel 30miles each way to work and back monday to friday

As above the Vitara is a good cheap option, always fancied a Defender 90 / 110

Vitara isn't very good off road. The tdi disco is your best bet for the money.
Also look for dihatsu fourtracks. Very competent off road and cheap to pick up, run and insure.

You want a Suzuki SJ413 that's been lifted.
They go near on anywhere.

What about a Lada Niva? Should be pretty cheap to buy these days.
