Another VTS and tune is... or ibiza cupra r?
Well my current vts is standard engine wise and basically had it, so going to be looking for new car soon... thing is i love the old spaxo...
So do i get a spanker of a vts and tune her up? Or run away from the saxo scene and go for something more reliable, comfortable like a Golf GTI, Ibiza Cupra, Audi S3...?
The saxo would be good because most around here are just standard VTRs driven by chavs... but problem is it's gotta be a road car aswell for work and that

Golf is cheapest, but probably the most boring...
Ibiza is 2nd cheapest, not sure about the drive...
S3 is expensive but 4wd so good for lots of power, also good to drive...
But for the cost of any other those, i could get a newer saxo, and probably get cams and everything fitted, making it a little rocket...

Depends what you want out of the car really.
Personally I like comfort and safety so the Saxo would be out of the picture. I know what you mean about the golfs being boring, seams everyone has them. They can be made pretty nifty though with a simple re-map. For the same money though you'd probably make a quicker and better handling Saxo, so again it depends what you want out of it.

also i just want something quicker... comfort isn't really a priority as i'd be slamming the car on coilovers if i got a golf or something lol

For a budget of 6-7k you can get a far quicker car than a Saxo.
Just depends on what you can afford to insure.
