Default Help with Bike test

Hi lads.
Looking to take my bike test within the next few weeks but i am just wondering exactly how it all works. When or even IF i pass exactly what sized egine bike can i ride??
also about how much does it cost for your lessons and test etc.
My CBT run out over 2 YEARS agoand the only bike experience i have is on a motorhispania furia 50cc for 6 months and the odd off road session on a pit bik.
Thanks
Chris

i passd my test 12 year ago, cbt was 70, lessons were 20 an hour

it depends how old you are as to what bike you can have, if your over 21 you can do direct access which will allow you to have any bike you like, under 21 i think you have to have 33bhp for 2 years
i maybe wrong and im sure if i am i will be corrected

I'm pretty sure that's still right on what you can ride.

I passed 4 years ago and it was something like,

Theory: £27ish - Need to do this as it's separate from a car one
CBT: £70 (+ £20 if you need to use their bike) - You will need a valid CBT certificate to do the lessons and test
Lessons: £70 (+ £20 if you need to use their bike) per day
Test: £50ish (+ £20 if you need to use their bike)

But all the prices have changed and costs more, also it will vary from different regions
