Harness fixing point (centre console area)
(Search button has been used)
How do people mount the lap part of the harness on to the car? I'm sure i've read somewhere that people drill a hole in sliding subframes and mount an eyelet there? The way i was thinking of doing it was to weld an eye bolt plate ( http://www.demon-tweaks.com/products...pcode=OMPDB418) to the tunnel/centre console area? Will this be secure enough or will it need another plate welded underneath for more strength.
How have you lot attached yours, is there a more simple way?
Cheers.

I'm going to make a guide on this because it was something i was stuck on and many other people seem to get stuck aswell.
You buy stress plates, think thats what there called anyway, so you just drill a hole in to the shell where you want the eye bolt to be, then theres a plate that goes either side of the hole then bolt it all up and job done.

I get the feeling alot of people do that, but i was never comfortable attaching it directly to the subframe.
