Default ecu remap

basically my car is a bit lumpy on idle, sometimes its ok sometimes its not ... and the emission's are a little high which is due to my open induction air filter

changed all the engine mounts to sort the idle shake out and have had a slight improvement but nothing great

not looking for performance wise from it but if thats included great lol ...

would a remap sort this out and how much on average would i be looking at for this

cheers woodsy

u tried changing the fuel filter? injectors? leads?

i had this problem on my 2000 w-reg vtr when at standstill the revs used to be lumpy when clutch was down.

think citroen can reflash your ecu to help the problem abit!

new fuel filter

dont think its the injectors as the power is always there its only the idle the problem

doesnt have leads, thinking the coil pack but again no loss of power or engine management light on

clutch doesnt make any differance down or up

wouldnt touch shitreon

if i got it on a diagnostics machine would that tell me ... my mate has one so would cost me fook all

Just a couple of ideas for you - have the cam timing checked, and remove and clean up the idle control solenoid
