dieing sub......
just set up my sub and amp the other day, it was all working fine until today. for the some reason when i increase the volume of the stereo it turns the sub off on a bass beat.
i parked up in a car park 2day to c if i could solve the problem, i discoverd that when the volume is turned up (not full) the green light on the amp flash's. much like when u turn it up full and it draws to much power.
if i leave the light to flash, it goes red.......and the sub turns off. BUT the speaks and the head unit keep playing......im stumped? like its not gettin enough power?????
any ideas?
thank you

could be a bad signal, as said.
so the amp is going into protect mode. have you got the amp set up correctly, not just whacked all the settings up to what "sounds good" ?

Sounds like, either a weak power supply, or wrong settings on the amp IMO

disconect the speaker wires from the amp then turn it up see if the protection light comes on then sounds like it could be a loose wire strand
cheak all connections make sure the earth is down to bare metel
