Default Seatbelt Tentioners..

Started last night, Basicly i start car and go to put on seatbelt and it tentions up and i cant move it to put it on... So after alot arsing about i can get it on but if the car is off it usually lets me put on first time. Also annoying when driving and get uncomfy and want to move but cant cos of seatbelt holding me in lol... Any ideas?

1 Mechanism is sticky, remove rear trim, locate and clean up seat belt inertia thingymibob
2 You parked on an angle, they will lock in this instance.

FYI the seatbelt pre tensioners are small charges and fire when airbags are deployed - they pull you into seat apparantly.

Probably the bearing or the bearing casing inside the mechinism box bit.

Be carefull when you take the casing off the black box as one side is a coil and will go mental and will just prevent you from putting it back together again. Slowley prize one side off and peak in, should see a purple bearing carrier and a white cog.
