Default temperature light on dash

Drained the radiator and refilled it up with new coolant and water , then on the way home from work the light came on , got home and the plug has come out on the bottom of the rad , got a new one filled it back up but the light wont go out any ideas on how to solve it

thanks jack

Sounds like your temp sensor has gone if the fan is constantly on and so is the red light.

When you start your car, do you hear bubbles?

fan could be on all the time due to the temp, whats the gauge showing? over 3/4?

how did you bleed it? did the fan kick in and out 3 times? does it only overheat when you put your foot down or when under 3k revs normal driving? does the top hose get warm before and after the thermostat? are your heaters putting out warm air?

just filled it up closed each bleed valve and the fan continued to stay on , and the fan blows out hot and cold air.

Fill up with coolant turn car on put heater on hot and full speed open bleed valve top of rad when water comes out close open bleed on the heater outlet close when water comes out re do the two above steps until water comes out as soon as you open the bleed screws

Check water level whilst doing it and also check heater is hot
