Default what does spanner signal mean?

hi folks..someone help me!!! on my saxo furio where the digital clock + the mileage counter is next to it a spanner signal has suddenly appeared..what does this signal mean? its doing my head in!! any advice appreciated..gazza

It means you car is due a service.

If you have carried out a service and need to reset then follow the instructions below:


Using button located at the left hand side of speedometer:
 Switch the ignition off.
 Press and hold button
 Switch on the ignition.
 Keep the button depressed for 10 seconds.
 The “spanner” symbol will go out and the display read 0.

It means your car needs a service mate, it counts down from 12,000 miles normally and informs you that your car needs a service, somewhere on here it tells you how to reset it back to normal, but my advise would be to service it and then reset the light
