Default How long did it take you to pass your test?

How many lessons or hours driving and how many times did it take to pass your theory and practical test out of interest?

most likely a repost but who cares.

Almost identical to above! 1 theory, 9 hours lessons, and 6 weeks in total

But I've been driving since I was 11!

Did my theory on my birthday, booked a test the same day and got a cancellation for 4 weeks after my 17th birthday.. took 8 1 hour lessons..

and passed..

the instructor was more than pissed off, he had a deal where the first 10 lessons in bulk were 100 quid, then the second 10 where 200 quid...

he must of lost a fair amount of money on me at £10 a lesson..

the block lesson also covered me to hire his car out for the test.. ultimate fail for him!!!

Find it funny how only the good drivers post on these

You never see "5 times at theory, 68 hours and 3 practicals" ha!

A guy I went to school with has now had over 210 hours. 3 years and 6 tests later he's still not passed.

He failed his first test when he came to a mini grass roundabout. The examiner told him to "go straight ahead at the roundabout".

He did.

He wasn't really all there. Not disabled or anything, just stupid.

He was asian. Everybody called him alladin and he never realised it was offencive. He thought it was cool. Even changed his bebo name to it (yes, I did used to have bebo, we're talking 4 years ago now )
