Default My R32 Detail/Paint Correction (Mostly After Pictures)

Its been needing doing and having a week off work has been the perfect oppurtunity to do it plus trax show is coming up :thumb: The front bumper was repainted before i bought it and tbh the paint was so flat but its blended in quite nicely now :buffer:

Total time spent is now about 28 hours :tumbleweed:

Anyway i dont have any befores and only a few during but the after shots speak for themselves

Process was as follows:-

Rinsed
Prewash with some APC
Rinsed
Washed with megs microfibre mitt
Rinsed off
Shuts were done a few days before but washed again with microfibre mitt
Wheels washed with megs wheel brightner using megs slide lock and ez wheel brushes and rinsed off
Clayed with dodo supernatural clay and megs last touch as a lube
Washed again and dryed off with waffle weave towel
3 Stage paint correction using 3M polish, using 3M and lake country pads (silver line rotary used)
Front and rear lights machined
Washed again and dryed off to rid polish dust
Dodo lime primed
Poorboys ex-p sealent
Waxed with collinite marque d'elegance
Wheels sealed with poorboys wheel sealent
Black plastics dressed with chemical guys natural look
Tyres dressed with megs high edurance gel
Exhaust tips polished with mothers metal polish
Interior hoovered and a bit of carpet striping going on lol
Autosmart G101 APC on mats
All letaher/plastic/rubber seals dressed with chemical guys natural look
Chemical guys stripper scent

Think thats it

Anyway think these are the only pictures i got of during, one 50/50 and two of wetsanding the bonnet, i do apologise though but i really couldnt be bothered with pictures

Wetsanding

50/50 (can just about see anyway)

Afters

Sorry again for the few before and during pictures

Just needs a few bits on the bumper wetsanded as there still not perfect for me and also need to detail the engine bay, its clean enough but needs that little bit extra to finish her off

Nice to see one thats clean and unmolested!, great finish on that mate.

Although have you ever considered having the wheels another colour? , maybe an anthracite or somethng, i really think it would set the car off.
