Does it matter which way round you connect the terminals to these? They are two pronged yet only one terminal connects to one of the prongs, does it matter which prong they are connected to and which way round.

I am presuming one of these has broke as my interior light stays on and central locking won't work from the fob. Any other suggestions?

Bump, any other reason my interior light stays on and central locking not works....
