Default is it possible to remove laquer from alloys?

hi all,

trying to sell my rainbow flaked black vts alloys but the laquer contains the 'glitter' as its matte black underneath (can tell as a bit has blistered and alloy exposed)

Is it possible to get the laquer removed? Do companies do this?

many thanks

nope no way would be cheaper and easier to send them for blasting and re coating or just get them sprayed matt black over the top. cant get it off without messing the paint under it up.

I would of thought the glitter would be in the paint! Take the wheels back imo if they are flaking already

use some m3 grit paste + a buffer or cloth to do it by hand. takes a layer of lacquer off.
