Default Xbox Live - Alternative to Wifi for connection?

Can't use Ethernet as my Dad's decided to rip the cabling out all over the house, and I'm sick to death of Windows Internet Connection Sharing due to the fact it erm, never works!

Anyone recommend any cheap alternatives to the Wifi adaptor (Wifi to Ethernet Bridge or Powerline Ethernet Adapter?)

When i am at home i connect my laptop to my xbox using ethernet cable, and then use the laptops wifi connection to access live. I never have any problems using this tbh, except for the fact the laptop has to be on, but it stays on pretty much 24 7 any way!

Which ones do you use. I know BT used to give some away with BT Vision, or did you buy your own?

haz_pro: I used to do that, but for some reason my laptop just doesn't like it now.

Could try a cheap router and make it a wireless bridge.
If you get a router that can use dd-wrt here's some instructions, http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Wireless_Bridge

Got the perfect router in mind, if I can find one. Linksys WRT54G, if they still make them! They tend to work well with DD-WRT.
