Default Vts wheels on vtr catching

My vtr is not lowered but has vts wheels on with standard 185/55/15 tyres had the front ones off today to do the ball joints and noticed they are catching on full lock is this normal?
Shall I just get some lower profile tyres?

VTS wheels should have 195/45/15 on them.

if its just catching on one side it sounds like your steering rack is not adjusted equally, they should be.

Just Thort about it and maybe with the large clumps of snow getting caught under the arches recently maybe I've lost a fixing or two

as said above tyres should be 195/45/15 and they shouldn't rub unless archlining loose
