Angry Difference between jp4 and jp4s?

As far as i can tell thru searching, the s version has an aluminium inlet and a higher rev range.
Is this all?
In theory I'll be changinag the inlet to a J4 anyway, and once i change over the head internals, and fitted some ph3s it will be getting mapped.

Anything else im missing?
Valve-piston clearance with the ph3s alright?

iirc the only difference is the inlet, and cams. As you are camming it, and using the J4 inlet, I cant see there being a difference

Excellent. So no point in searching for a rare jp4s then, when a jp4 will do the job

Not really mate. IIRC the TU5JP4S was the 1 used in the C2 VTS and the TU5JP4 was used in the 207 etc.
They are basically the same engine iirc, with just the few little bits like the inlet etc...which will be changed anyway

Ill double check when im slightly more awake tomorrow for you though mate...dont wanna lead you down wrong path.

JP4s I beleive has pocketed pistons for the wilder cam like J4's and slightly stronger, but they are much rarer and more pricey obviously.
