yes another noise thread, got a banging noise coming from my boot, sounds like something hitting, its loud and its when i go over speed bumps or just bumps in the road. i have removed 3rd brake light totally, wasnt that, removed the plastic covering the rear wiper, wasnt that, so have put them bits back on and im out of ideas its VERY VERY ANNOYING

just a random guess but is your spare wheel locked in properly? or an exhaust bracket broken? just guessing, hopefully some help.

try the torx screws that hold in the parcel shelf brackets at each side (same place as where the rear seat belts come from.

either that or its your exhaust hitting the bumper; or the screw holding the spare wheel in is loose

thanks guys, wideboy - will try out the screws, i checked my spare, def not that, exhaust doesnt hit bumper and is pretty solid( no movement) really dont know what it could be
