Default Single Plug Engine Into 3 Plug Car

Im having problems trying to source a 3 plug engine and in hindsight a single plug engine will be better (for running predator ecu).

So here is the problem.... I have done a little bit of reading on here but can't find a deffinitive answer.

How do i go about getting the single plug loom to fit into my 2002 reg VTR,

what sensors are needed?

how does it connect to the car?

Is this a ridiculously hard job to do and a waste of time?

Any help appreciated

the looms have a different plug(in the wing near battery) when it came to convert my car the lads doing it cut the big plug off and re did it to make it fit the same plug i think this is quite a difficult job but it can be done! im sure there are garages/ auto sparkys that would be able to do it

I'm sure a couple of people on here have done it. Im guessing you have to be pretty good on the auto electrician side of things.

No clocks and no rear lights, while the multiplug on the loom physically plugged into the car fine, half of the wires didn't match up

that reply at the top, i have heard that you have to cut the plug off and re-attach the wires back up to suit the car and engine, think you would need auto-electrician to help you, hope you manage

Ive converted a single plug engine to a 3 plug engine. Works fine, IIRC most the sensors are different.

I could hazard a guess it is possible to go 3 plug > single plug quite simply.

I know it's a long shot but couldn't i effectively get a 3 plug loom and a single plug loom,

Cut the plugs of the single plug and bodge them onto the 3 plug? Tell me if im being silly.
