if i bought my for £80 what do i put in car value section when it comes to insure it

Whatever you think it's worth
Book value does not mean that's all a car is worth
Mine is insured for 2 grand but parkers says its only worth like £1400
Insurers will always try and give you a shit amount if you write the car off but if you can prove it's worth what you insured it for then they will eventually give you that amount
I paid 2k for mine, I can find 20 adverts for the same car with the same mileage that are going for the same amount

well i dont think it worth much to be honest but basically if i put £80 they will just wright it off straight away basically and does it make a difference to the price of insurance at all

i dont think it makes a massive difference, i just put in the value what i would sell it for.
