Default Would it be easy to instal a temp guauge?

My model-Mk1 SX -does not come with a temp guage and I reckon knowing the engine is running hot before it causes any real trouble is important.
Is it possible to instal a temp guage-if so what would be involved?

Cheers
pete

By a temp gauge do you mean a water temp gauge? If so first of all you need a water temp gauge with the sender, the sender usually comes with the gauge.
and then you will need one of these to put in the top rad hose :

Don't quote me on the size though as you will need to measure the internal diameter of your top hose
