What the F**k you muppet's never jet wash a engine ever and didn't realise you drive down the motorway with your bonnet open and up to 40psi of rain water.

Good you don't need one.
Wrap all electrics with duck tape and plastic bags. Including the ecu then spray on a de-greaser and agitate with a stiff nylon brush then rinse with a slow flowing source of water (normal hose / watering can). Then clean all the plastics with a A.P.C and rinse. Dry it all off using a old drying towel and dress everything using the appropriate products.
Never use a Jet wash as it forces water into electrical connectors and places water is not suppose to go.

i personaly disagree but i can understand the previous argument,
safest and easier way to do it is just to use a lil spray bottle of sugar soap or something and a cloth

Don't jetwash it. My Dad get's plenty of car's in at work where the car has had the engine jet washed and then it doesn't run...
Meg's APC, mf cloths, a brush and garden hose with shower setting being very very careful.
Silicone spray, FK1000P and good to go.
