Your perfect smartphone ?

Mine would be bar shaped, like an omnia HD or one of the new samsungs, It would have no less than an 8MP Camera with Xenon flash, take excellent pictures night and day and video ( most importantly quality audio on the vids, like my w995 cause you could record loud gigs and it would sound class )

AMOLED Screen like the galaxy S2
A good fast interface like the i phone or android.
Class mp3 player quality
good signal inside places.
Full flash and good web browsing.

Sadly these phones tend to have a few on the list, missing one favourite.

Phone I will probably get next: SE Xperia Arc ticks nearly all of those I think. Nobody has a bad word to say about it as far as I've read on the reviews. It's also ridiculously slim by all accounts. I currently have a SE W995 and love it, but I now want a smart phone.

i found the xperia arc very boring as an android smartphone, i enjoyed using the lg optimus 2x and samsung galaxy s2 but for a good cheap phone the huawei u8800 is a good smartphone and is supported well by modding communities but is out of stock eveywhere for last few months

ive just upgraded my iphone 3gs for the HTC desire s and can safely say its 10x better than the iphone.

the iphone is easier to use, but like all new phones it takes a while to master everything.
got a decent camera, can get all the apps like an iphone, android FTW

ive had the iphone 3g, and 3gs and they were both basicaly the same. and both pretty shit. which is what put me off the iphone 4. so went over to the dark side last saturday and got my first Android Smartphone very chuffed.

i didnt enjoy the arc mainly because i didnt like their user interface, i cant remember of the top of my head but the arc also isnt that customizable, sony also dont really support their devices either, they send the phone out and you dont really get many updates then they bring a new phone out. for example the X10 still has many bugs. i had a friend with an arc and it was his first smartphone and he loved it, then he had a go at the samsung galaxy s2 and he loved that even more just down to some of the extra settings they give you

I had a HTC desire which i stupidly upgraded to a BB Bold, after 3 months of it i bought a HTC Desire S...Couldnt ask for anything more!

well maybe a battery that lasted longer than a day...but i can live with charging every night.

my misses has the s2 now... Pretty good imo. Really nice phone. Shes giving me her nokia n8 which aint the best by any means but whoa ! what a camera (With proper flash) Yeah im a bit of a camera geek. Theres a patch going around that gives it 30fps and continuing autofocus 192 kbps audio recording in camcorder mode.. Perfect for the gig shots Nothin annoys me more than being out and someone says take a pic, you whip out your phone, only to be greeted by the ugly blur that you get if you dont hold the fucker still. You can spin around with an N8 and still get a good picture.
