Help?? Lol
Hi. Basically I have brought a quicksilver cheap with a engine that has died.
I'm sticking my 16v engine into it I have the unlocked ecu for new engine but I'm just wondering do I need the engine to be running to unplug the little black box on my car? As the car doesn't run. Or can I simply just unplug it do away with it and then my new unlocked ecu work fine. ? Any help would be great. Cheers

If u have a unlocked ecu dissconect the black box because if you try to start with it connected it will lock it. Take it out a put it with the quicksilver ecu, the car has to be running to disconnect immobliser to unlock it.

Thank god for that been panicking. So simply just remove black box. Launch this away in bit or back of garage lol carry on removing the fit new engine and my unlocked ecu will still start car fine even tho box was not removed whilst engine was running
