Talking IDEA's for my saxo 1.1i East coast (first car)

hey guy's (n girls )

I recently just bought a 1999 Saxo 1.1i east coast for my first car and was just wondering what i could fit to make it:
  • -exterior styling
  • -interior styling
  • -sound better
  • -lower
  • -handle better
  • -brakes
  • -ect ......

I already been thinking about a back box and rally stlye mud flaps (good idea/bad idea ? ). i also have a sub that is going in the boot n 6x9's for the parcel shelf. but other than that Im looking for any other ideas to perk the lil demon up HAHA

thanks

Get some pics up first of all

it all depends how much money you want to spend really..

-exterior styling
Smoked Headlights, De-slat the grill, de-wiper, lower it, new wheels

-interior styling
new speakers/tweeters/sub, Gti leathers,

-sound better
Mine only has a 4" Backbox and it sounds sweeet, but if you want that raspy noise then its best to get the full exhaust system. A supersprint system is very good quality i've been told

-lower
Apex kits are very good but for the best quality go for GAZ coilovers

-handle better

Coilovers/Shocks, Generally lowering the car 40mm for example will improve the handling but as most people will tell you a car with a uprated suspension set up will be able to piss all over a car with much more power but with a standard setup

-brakes
A standard Mintex disc, caliper and pad set can improve your brakes fairly well but there are many other kits to really upgrade them..

Hope that helps

LOL on a 1.1 the best place for your money is in a bank account saving for a VTR or furio.
though, a VTR kit would do it wonders, get the rear beam taken down for about £80 usually and buy some lowering springs for the front.

if your notifying your insurance about mods you will get creamed, so may as well not bother. if your not, get a VTR lump and drop it in.
a picture of your car would help

I dont want to spend bucket loads of cash as like (m4tt274) said im gunna be saving some money and looking at get a 1.6 VTR next year or the year after, just dont wanna be driving round in a standard lil sax want it to be a bit diffrent with a bit of flare ;D i know ya never gunna get much more power out of it being a 1.1 so id rather put money towards it looking and sounding better

i had fort of smoking the lights i was gunna do the rear ones however werent sure what parts of the lens to smoke :s sounds dumb i know but ive seen a few examples where people have masked off some of the lens and they look pritty good! is there anything to do wid law bout this ect....

ive never used it, but do both together, put them side by side and that way if the car rund out the will at least be even.

also, the 1.1 wont sound that good, you could make it loud though!
