Default air filter pipe has a crack in it

Hi guys,
I have a 2003 vts recently noticed on the standard airfilter tht the pipe attached to the box attached to the inlet manifold the pipe between the two has split in two :/ what will this affect as car doesn't seem as quick?

Thanks
Tomo

The engine is potentially taking in unfiltered air and you will be affected by heatsoak from the engine. Not a massive thing though tbh just get that pipe replaced.

I have to agree. You engine may be receiving air that is not filtered as a result of a worn out air filter pipe. You should have no trouble replacing the air filter pipe.
