Default De-Wipering

Right so, my saxos been de-wipered!
And iv iv got a rubber blaniking gromit in the hole at the moment!
BUT iv heard horrific stories, of people having the rubber bung pushed through, and a coat hanger put through the hole, and having their boot unlocked, causing them to have things stolen!
My dad had the bright idea of getting a plumbing planking plug (like for blocking tap holes etc)
But i cant find one with a 10mm diameter
What have other people used to stop this?
Or is there nothing that can be done?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Many thanks!

There was something a couple of years back you could buy, that basically bolted on from the inside. Like a metal disc with a nut on the back... then a big washer and a bolt to stop it from falling out/in.

It might be easier to try and wedge some cardboard or something around there so they can't get directly to the lock mechanism.

Also, i wouldn't worry too much about people breaking into your car like that.

It's easy enough to get in with a screwdriver through the lock... or just bending the front doors... My mate's had both of these done to his 106.
End of the day... don't leave a 300 quid stereo on display in a shitty area

Yeh, at the end of the day there are easier ways to break into a saxo.

I'd just try not to worry about it... and don't leave stuff on show

I agree to be honest if someone wants to get into a saxo they will, best thing you could do is get a good alarm so they hopefully don't get time to take anything. you could put a bit of silicone around the bung though just to make sure you get no leaks through it
