Looks smart that. Plans sound really good too! Why Rota Attack alloys?

Silver is quite a boring colour really, but it was the best saxo I could find in my price range, and I know the full history of the car as a family friend owned it from new who's also a mechanic. Bought the car April 2010 with 30,247 miles on the clock, full MOT, 6 months tax, new brake pads, discs, exhaust, cambelt change, FSH for a price I couldn't walk away from. Engine and drivetrain is so smooth and pulls so much better than my old one.

Well the standard VTR alloys are going to be refurbed with Falkens. Rota attack wheels are going to be for the summer/track driving. I have thought about Team Dynamics pro race 1.2's, but they are too common, not just on Saxo's.

MOT Passed
Just passed it's MOT today. All good apart from a few advisories:
1. Discolouration of N/S/F indicator bulb
2. L.E.D out on high level brake light
3. O/S/R wheel slightly bent (due to being cut off by Corsa driver at roundabout. Made me have to hit the curb on the inside)
The wheel problem gets sorted this evening with a delivery of some 15'' Rota Attacks.
They are grey at the moment, but could always be done a different colour. Any suggestions?

Hey Adam, cheers. Hopefully will look alright. Been looking for some wheels for the summer.
I'm in need of one vtr wheel so I have a set to refurb.

Rota Attack 15"
Just came today. Second hand off a local lad on here. Really happy. Need a small bit of tidying up, just laquer peel. No curbing at all and tyres have a lot of tread. All Yokohama's.
Pictures:
Can't wait to get them on this summer
P.S ignore the weird card ontop of the hi-fi

Direct fitment for a saxo.
Sexy_gt has a red set on the mk1 vtr iirc
Still not sure if I like the vtr wheels more or not. Rear needs to be lowered more. Time will tell. Im still in need of 1 vtr wheel so I can refurb a full set. O/S/R is damaged.

Fuck, that's one low mileage tidy Sax! I don't like the Rota's however. Looks out of place, plus the fact you can see the wheel weights on them too, the colour goes wheel against the silver though. Maybe look at getting some 'S Alloys and refurb them that colour?

Iv done a lot of miles since I bought her. Bought on 30247 last April. Done 14,000 miles in a year due to cruizing to Coventry and back (230 mile round trip) and to college and football. But, shes serviced well and never driven hard on the road. She runs smooth and pulls well. So much sharper than my old vtr.
As for 'S wheels I'm not too keen. Once the Rota's are fully refurbed with new Yokohama Parada spec 2's, rear lowered a bit more, then it could look alright. Also got the 'R wheels being refurbed.
As said it was just a quick fit and photo today only got them wednesday evening.

Which wheels are you using for track?
Looks nice mate, you on track on 12th april?
It maybe worth slipping a cheeky cam in, it will pull much harder past 5k rpm

Rota's are for track/summer and I can't do the 12th I'm at work that evening and college in the day
If it looks better with the refurbed VTR alloys then I'l just have them on.

I've been told (don't know how reliable the source is) that 266 brakes will fit under, just. All depends on what make of caliper I think. But yeah, your wheels are lovely I like a lot!!!
Use to have one of the photo's of you at cadwell as my background.
Hopefully this summer i get chance to do a 'proper' job on my car. Re-painting a few bits to make it look nice and clean. I just wish I had moneys
