Default HELP PLEASE!! Saxo vtr won't go!

It's a mk1 Saxo vtr.. Was driving along earlier and the car just cut out, tried bumping as driving but nothing! Pulled over and tried starting it but there Is nothing either! The dash lights come on but power is drained! Tried bumping on tow but it just doesnt fire.. Not even the starter clicks.. Can anyone help me on this?

Check alternator and the big fuses under the bonnet

Would the big fuses stop the starter from working?

No put fresh batry on it n still nothing

Changed the 4 big fuses and still nothing.. There was an earth wire off wer an engine mount bolt snapped but I've put them back on the gearbox and still doesn't crank atall :s

All sorted now.. There a cut in on of the wires from the bat to starter.. Joined it n fired straight back up
