Exclamation My Saxo 1.1i desire progress thread

I have a saxo 1.1i desire 2001 in silver and decided to do a prgress thread now even though ive started doing things to it, so ill just have to get u up to speed. Oh and anyone with any ideas or tips on what i should do however small i would like to know, thankk youuuu

So first ive put a black grille in as i think it looks better than the boring silver one, i have bought some mesh so considering changing to that (opinions please) also had to change the fog light as one was smashed out (that was well fiddely )

I T-cut the badges on the back to go with the grille and it was well worth it, and i thought about takeing off wipers but i cant understand why people do that, because you will need your wipers wont you

I bought a new stereo and put in new speakers in the front for it so i can plug in my ipod and drive with tunage !!

Changed dials to vts white ones, oh and my temp dial always goes down to nothing after a while and the light is always on so if someone could explain this to me or tell me what is wrong with it i would be very appreciated.

oh and one more i got a saxp sticker and put that on to show my love for this site

I have also bought some Vts alloys 14 inch but missed the delivery today haha and would like opinions on what colour i should have them im thinking either white or black.

Im guessing the 'black grill' your on about is a dimma style? No chevrons and meshed? If it is, im a fan of these

You do know people only remove the rear wiper right? lol. Ive done this to mine and ive had no problems really..

As for the dials messing up it could just be wired up wrong or parts of the wiring are faulty?

Get some pics up mate

easy mate just take the platic coering off and drill through the rivets it will come straight out, wire in the new speakers and screw them in or re-rivet if you want to.

i can see the pics
looks a nice little motor
only take the rear wiper off as it looks alot smoother
id black your headlights theres loads of threads on this
you could paint your interior plastics
think gun metal grey would be nice on your alloys
and lower it to remove the arch gap
