trouble getting gears
hi i have recently changed my gear box in my saxo vtr mk 1, i was told the gear box i got came from a 106 gti and would go stright in no problems.
it bolted up to the engine fine the only slight mod i had to do was the top gear linkage,
where it connected to the top arm on the gear box it was bent 90 degrees where as my original gear box it was stright, which stoped my linkage going on
so i twisted it enuff for it to pop on with no problems but now i strugle to get it in to reverse and some times second gear
could some one please tell me what has gone wrong thanks
