Default Time for a clutch change?

Hey guys,

My car has just ticked over 77k and from the history i can see it hasnt been changed.

The pedal doesnt slip but biting is quite high, adjusted it but now its near enough back to where it was.

Gear changes are still smooth and as i said no slipping, is it worth changing for peace of mind?

Just times are hard and if it can last the summer then that would be useful!

Thoughts and opinions please!

Nope absolutely fine

Work will be done with you no matter what Kris, just wondering is i can prolong the inevitable!

Even if the clutch isnt done at the same time (you can have a check) Ill still need the bush, gbox seals and brakes done so ill be pming you within the next couple of months!

How do you know if it needs changing? Cos I'm thinking of changing mine this summer when I get some money together... my gears aren't smooth, clicky and sometimes gotta give it some to find 1st from neutral etc... I'm new to this, but it's common sense when somethings note right lol.

Jakey... you probably need a gear oil change before anything

I beleive there's a guide on the forum... but.

2 Litres of ep75/80 gear oil (peugeot/citroen sell the good stuff).

8mm square drive 'bit' for a ratchet.

small funnel

jack the car up, drain from the plug at the bottom of the gearbox. Replace plug, refill gearbox from either black cap on top (pulls off) or from the other plug on the front of the box.
