It's £20 which I think is reasonable for what you get.
I wouldn't skimp out on a HPI check tbh

As said pay and get a proper one, its the only way to get the gurantees that come with it
Those text ones are rubbish and often don't have all the financial details on it

Done it with the one mentioned above. Everything was spot on and deposit has now been placed
