Default Gearbox replacement

Not really good with gearboxes so god knows. Got a forte and want to replace the gearbox it's abut crunchy. How much are they for a new/recon one and how much would someone charge to fit it

You can buy 2nd hand ones for around £50. Try and find ones with low mileage, obviously.
