Pre-Track checks... and the faults you find!
Before I take my VTS around Bruntingthorpe on Saturday Ive been giving everything the once over!
Found a cracked rear disc which was ready to shatter and very low rear brake pads!
New rear discs and pads came in at an astonishing £27
Just the front brake hose brackets to sort out now and the car's as ready as it can be.

too many handbrake turns 
fingers crossed the driveshafts/gearbox holds up this time. i'd love to see this beast in action, maybe next year. (no gay pun intended)

The rear discs/pads were about 2 years old I guess...
I still have Ants FIA approved video camera mount strapped to the roll cage. Sorry Ant... I'll unbolt it after this weekend
Plenty of pics and videos shall be taken.
At Brunters for a FCS meeting and trackday.

Pics: start at shutter speed of 1/200 on tv setting and go lower when you get the hang of it.

what make discs and pads are they?
i've just replaced mine, theres hardly any meat on the new pads than there is on the ones i took out!!!
